The Artist is our smallest and most cosy cottage, named for the creative souls who like to stay by the stream and dream up new visions for the rest of us to enjoy. THE SPACE
Just 10 minutes from the Kodai Lake, Whispering Waters is a serene 4-acre pear orchard hidden away on the scenic mountainside of Chinnapallam. The farm and farmstead is the brainchild of Ramdev, who bought the land over 40 years ago and has turned a once unfamiliar terrain into a cherished home. The space offers ten thoughtfully curated cottages; each an amalgamation of rustic charm and modern comfort, providing our guests with breathtaking views, quietude and a peaceful, comfortable sanctuary.
The name ‘Whispering Waters’ is a tribute to the beloved stream of spring water that begins on the farm and cascades along a rocky cleft, under a canopy of elderly tree ferns into a charming mini-waterfall and rock pool, before carrying on down through the mountain. The stream is a source of life and magic on the farm, which we treasure and protect. We encourage guests to explore the farm as well as the surrounding village, which has many awesome viewpoints and is a pleasure to discover on foot.
Conscious organic eating is a natural way of life here, as our local chefs craft meals that are nutritious and delectable, but above all, homely and comforting. Being up in the mountain altitude and chill really spurs the appetite and we ensure that our guests end each day entirely satiated.
At Whispering Waters, our guests enter a world where time slows down and the focus gently shifts into an appreciation of our natural surroundings and the things that are most dear to us.
